I didn't know how to launch it! I thought I could rev it up and it would fly out of my hand with a gentle push forward. Nope. It nosedived. So disappointing. The website for the company that sold it had a video that showed an unboxing. What I NEEDED was a video that would illustrate how to launch the darned thing. In fact, some illustration of launching technique would have been a good addition to the instructions. I ordered other planes, really small oddball stuff, and found an Airhogs thing that I could more or less fly, and in a sporting goods store I found a primitive but good looking jet, (X-18) that looked something like an F-18, and I managed to fly that thing a few times, although it had no elevator. It was one of those things with a pusher prop on each wing, and it used differential thrust to turn, and a speed control to maintain altitude. The foam it was made of was very brittle. The nose kept breaking off. But I was learning, slowly.
